SPAM ALERT - updated 7/2/2010
WVI customers may receive an e-mail purporting to be from "support@wvi.com" or another official WVI e-mail address. The newest version has the subject line of "Reset your wvi.com password" and has a link that will result in either the download of trojan software or the compromise of your e-mail password. THIS E-MAIL IS FRAUDULENT. Please delete it. If you have downloaded the file, please update your anti-virus software and run a scan on your system immediately.
WVI has no automated password reset capability - we prefer to have real people talk to our customers when they need assistance.
Additionally, a new e-mail with the subject line of "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" with a trojan installing HTML attachment has been received by many WVI customers. Postini probably won't catch it because it closely mimics a valid e-mail message.
